SAFETY
WARNING:
IMPORTANT! READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE USING
MAGNETIC THERAPY!
The following information
is supplied only as a guideline and is in no way intended to be
medical advice or treatment. Before starting any magnetic therapy
or attaching magnets to your body using tape, we strongly recommend
that you consult your medical doctor and 3M, the manufacturer
of the tape, for their recommendations. Should you experience
any discomfort, rash or other condition, discontinue their use
immediately and consult your medical doctor.
NOTICE: JenTek makes no claim or guarantee as to the safety or
effectiveness of magnet therapy, or the tape. Use of these products
is at the sole discretion of the user. Furthermore, the user agrees
to indemnify JenTek, its owners, employees and contractors from
any liability arising from their use or misuse.
NOTICE: Most studies we’ve seen show placing the North or
South Pole toward the skin made no difference. If desired, you
can determine the poles with a compass. The North compass needle
will point to the South Pole of the magnet.
CAUTION & SAFETY WARNING:
- Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets are VERY STRONG and can permanently
damage compasses’, computers, discs, credit cards and other
magnetically sensitive devices!
- These magnets should never be near a person with a pacemaker
or similar medical aid. The strong magnetic fields can adversely
affect the operation of these and other medical devices.
- Keep these away from children, as these can also be a chocking
hazard.
- Neodymium magnets should never be machined or burned, as machining
or burning them will create toxic fumes.
- They are also VERY BRITTLE and can be broken or shattered by
dropping or allowing them to snap unrestricted to each other or
other metal objects. Eye protection should be worn when handling
these magnets! Shattering magnets can fragment and project high
speed pieces!
- Neodymium magnets will lose their magnetic properties if heated
above 175° F (80° C).
- These magnets carry no warranty against demagnetizing, cracking,
breaking, loss ETC.
